Silver & Gold Foil Design

Having prepared the nail and applied the tip of your choice, here we use the Elation Clear tip. 

1.  Gently roughen the tip surface with 180/240gt black file taking care not to file on the natural nail plate.

2. Apply Balance Bond Primer to the entire nail and tip surface.

3. Apply a thin layer of Balance Builder Clear/Blush.  (At this point you can cut the tip if you prefer or keep it long and clip excess length later.)  Cure for 90 seconds in a UV Lamp

4.  Gently seperate some of the foil leaf into smaller pieces using the NSI Perry Tweezers - then using the Gel Brush pick up pieces of foil and press into the gel to create the desired pattern.  

5. Apply a thicker layer of Balance Builder Clear/Blush over the foil design taking care to build some thickness over the stress area and ensuring the foil is evenly covered with gel.  Cure for 90 seconds, remove and wipe with NSI Cleanse.

6. Clip the tip to the desired length and using a 180/240gt black file smooth the gel surface and create the shape, dust the nail thoroughly.

7. Apply a thin layer of Balance Finish Clear to the entire nail and apply Gold Studs.  Cure in UV lamp for 90 seconds, remove and wipe with NSI Cleanse.
