In an effort to improve service and maintain our position as one of the market leaders in the nail industry, the company have made considerable investment in an education programme. Achieve Training Consultants have developed and devised a programme of excellence and accreditation for NSI. Those nail spas and salons who use the NSI products are able to apply for the NSI GOLD AWARD, this accreditation helps salons achieve the recognition they deserve.
NSI Managing Director, Jason Shaw explained that “in hairdressing, beauty and nails there are qualifications that should be achieved, but there is no organisation that regulates the standards within the salons.” Having been in the business for almost twenty-five years Jason feels passionately that the nail industry should acknowledge salons that stand out from the rest. When Achieve Training came up with the GOLD AWARD system for NSI, it was just what was needed. It has been created to recognize those who wish to raise the bar and standards in professional nail and beauty technology. The salons represented at our award ceremony had been visited and rigorously inspected by Achieve Training. The ultimate goal of our NSI Gold Award is to achieve a five-star rating and standardize the world of nail and beauty salons. NSI GOLD SALONS are assuring their clients are guaranteed a level of skill and service and can be confident in the knowledge that the salon is following current legislation.
NSI are now able to offer the Business Improvement Programme alongside their popular nail and beauty skills training classes. The Business Improvement programme concentrates on providing information and skills necessary for managing a successful business and complying with present legislation. The one day training programme along with a personal visit to the salon ensures salons will have the confidence to manage their business effectively. A web site designed to help members of the GOLD AWARD is also available and assists salons in getting information on all aspects of managing a nail and beauty salon, plus information on marketing and PR, giving small salon owners the comfort of knowing help is at hand. This information is invaluable to all small businesses and free to all members of The Gold Award.
The first Award ceremony held at Manchester NSI head Office, where all salons reaching NSI’s exacting standard attended a Champagne brunch and were presented with their certificates by Managing Director Jason Shaw and his Co-Director Marie Littlewood. QUICK GOLD AWARD FACTS...
At your induction seminar Acheive Training Consultants will go through all the requirements of a Gold Salon and prepare a plan of how you will acheive this.
When you have agreed how and when you will gather your evidence, you will then agree a date for a salon visit when Acheive Assessors will visit and assess your salon.
Once you have achieved your NSI Gold Salon Status you will receive a plaque and certificate to display in your salon and you can enjoy marketing benefits that will set you apart from your competitors. There are 3 levels of Gold award. To find out where your salon would fit, visit:

COULD YOU BE A GOLD SALON?
Salons wishing to apply for the Gold Award must use NSI products and hold relevant NSI certificates. Nail Technicians without NSI certification will be required to attend an NSI workshop.
Cost of the award: £500.00 +vat !! WE PAY HALF !!
For a limited period only NSI will pay 50% of the cost if you sign up before the 31st August meaning You Pay Just £250.00 +vat
