Prep:
Sanitize: Thoroughly cleanse hands, tools, and workspace with ROXI Cleanse to ensure hygiene.
Prep the Nails: Shape the free edge, push back the cuticles, and remove non-living tissue.
File and Etch: Lightly etch the nail's surface with a ROXI 180gt File, following its contour and the direction of nail growth. Remove any dust before proceeding.
Dehydrate: Use the ROXI Dehydrator to eliminate moisture and oils from the natural nail plate. Allow it to dry completely.
Prime: Applying primer is an essential step when using HEMA-Free formulas to ensure strong product adhesion and retention. Our Acid-Free Primer your the go-to for regular clients, if you have clients who are prone to lifting and need stronger adhesion, our Acid Based Primer is the one for you. How to apply: After shaking the primer bottle, remove the brush and wipe off excess product along the bottle's edge. Apply a thin layer evenly on all the nails. Allow the primer to dry for one minute; the nails will not appear chalky white.
Builder Gel Application:
Builder Layers: Choose your favourite Builder Gel colour. Shake the bottle well and apply a thin coat as your base and cure for 60 seconds. (Don’t worry if the first layer looks translucent.)
Applying a slip layer to one nail, then reload your brush with gel and start building up the product by moving your brush in a circular motion from left to right. Cure for 60 seconds.
If you need to refine the shape of the nails, remove the tacky dispersion layer using ROXI Cleanse, otherwise you can skip this step and seal your look with ROXI Top Coat or ROXI Gel Polish.
Finishing:
Choose your finish: Apply the ROXI Top Coat, capping the free edges for added durability. Cure for 60 Seconds.
Alternatively, use one of our 47 Gel Polishes to add colour or design to your set. Our Gel Polishes require a 60 second cure.
To ensure a full and even cure we recommend using the ROXI Pro Lamp.
Nourish:
Complete the experience with Roxi Rose-Scented Cuticle Oil to hydrate and condition the cuticles and skin.
